While we try our best to make every single partner we have at DropbackTV, sometimes, we aren’t a good fit for a channel. Thus, we do allow any of our partners to leave at anytime for any reason or no reason as long as you give us a 30 day notice. This is because we want all of our partners to be happy, and if you are not happy, we don’t want you to be trapped in our network. Nevertheless, should you want to leave, how do you do so?
Go to the YouTube “Account Features” page. You can do this by going to your YouTube dashboard or video manager and clicking “Account” on the left-hand sidebar. You can also go to this link to get there directly if you are having trouble locating this page from your video manager or YouTube dashboard. Once you are there, you can move on to the next step!
Once you’re on the “Account Features” page, you will see “Network MCN Freedom! (any.TV Limited)“. Next to that, you will see a little box with two down arrows in it. Click this, and you will then see a button that says “Request to unlink”. Click that button, and move on to the next step!
After clicking the “Request to unlink” button, there will be dialog box pop-up that gives you information on exactly how unlinking works. Once you have read through that, click “I understand and agree.” at the bottom of the dialog box, and then, again, click the button in the bottom right of the dialog box that says “Request to unlink”. After that, you are done. You have requested to unlink from DropbackTV, and in 30 days, you will be unlinked.
I Didn’t Mean To Unlink!
If you’ve accidentally requested to unlink from the network, there is no big deal. Just go to https://www.youtube.com/features, and click the “Cancel request” button on that page. A dialog box will then pop up, and all you need to do is click “Yes” in the bottom right hand corner of the dialog box. After that, you are good to go! You are now not going to be unlinked from the network.
